Father Richard John Neuhaus is the author of a number of books, including The Naked Public Square, and is Editor-in-Chief of First Things, a monthly publication of the Institute on Religion and Public Life. The Institute is an interreligious, nonpartisan research and education organization whose purpose is to advance a religiously informed public philosophy for the ordering of society.
