I was born in Salt Lake City, Utah to parents who are polygamist Mormons. My father had four wives and 31 children. I was the 27th of the 31 children. My mother was my father’s third wife. She had seven children, of which I was the youngest. They belong to a group of polygamists that live in a town on the border of Utah and Arizona called Colorado City, Arizona.
Warren Jeff’s deviant sexual behavior has been graphically documented in the media and provoked the expected general societal response of abhorrence and disgust. Understandably, virtually no one accepts his claims to be a divinely inspired prophet of God. Less well known is that Joseph Smith’s polygamy both inspired and parallels Warren Jeffs’ polygamous practices.
